Privacy at EAE

EAE International operates multiple education products and programs. This company-level policy applies across that portfolio.

Product-specific privacy policies provide additional detail about information collected by a particular platform.

We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Extracurricular Activity Excellence International Pte. Ltd., operating as EAE International (“EAE International”, “EAE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), is a Singapore education service provider. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use EAE-operated websites, platforms, applications, competitions, accreditation services, courses, subscriptions, passes, certificates, programs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

The information processed in a particular interaction depends on the Service and features you use. This policy should be read together with the privacy notice presented by the applicable product, program, registration form, or feature.

3. Information we collect

Depending on the Service, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information: name, username, email address, phone number, country or region, language, account identifiers, and profile information.
  • Education and participation information: school, grade or education stage, graduation year, advisor or institution, eligibility information, registrations, applications, program activity, submissions, scores, awards, certificates, and learning progress.
  • Content and communications: files, entries, notes, questions, prompts, messages, feedback, support requests, and other information you choose to submit.
  • Orders and subscription information: products purchased, plan and entitlement status, billing and renewal state, transaction references, invoices, refunds, and records of checkout disclosures and acceptance.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser, device, operating system, app version, user agent, language, time zone, session activity, cookies, analytics, diagnostic information, and security logs.
  • Parent, guardian, advisor, or institutional information: contact, consent, supervision, and administration information where required for minors or organized participation.

We may receive information directly from you, from a purchaser or authorized representative, from a school, advisor, guardian, program partner, or institution, automatically from the Service, or from service providers that help us complete a transaction or operate a feature.

4. How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts.
  • Process registrations, applications, purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and support requests.
  • Deliver education, learning, competitions, assessments, accreditation, scoring, awards, reports, certificates, and verification services.
  • Personalize content, language, recommendations, progress, and product settings.
  • Communicate receipts, security alerts, account notices, program updates, reminders, and other operational messages.
  • Detect fraud, payment misuse, cheating, abuse, and security threats; troubleshoot errors; and protect program integrity.
  • Analyze and improve the reliability, accessibility, performance, and usefulness of our Services.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute-resolution, and enforcement obligations.

Depending on applicable law, we process information to perform a contract, take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate operational and security interests, protect vital interests, or based on consent where consent is required.

5. Payments, Stripe, and contract records

Stripe and other authorized payment providers process payment details for EAE purchases. We generally receive transaction references, payment status, billing details, and limited payment-method information rather than full card numbers.

For purchases and subscriptions, we may retain the policies and disclosures shown, the purchaser’s acknowledgements, acceptance timestamps, account and transaction references, review or interaction records, IP address, browser, device, user agent, and payment provider records. We use this information to provide paid access, administer recurring billing, prevent fraud, answer billing questions, establish what was agreed, and respond to disputes.

6. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

Our websites and platforms may use cookies, local storage, session data, analytics, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, understand page interactions such as clicks and scrolling, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve Services. Browser controls may allow you to limit these technologies, but doing so can affect functionality.

7. AI, assessment, and specialized features

Some Services provide AI-assisted explanations, content processing, translation, recommendations, or tutoring. Information needed to complete a request may be sent to providers processing it on our behalf. Users should not enter confidential or highly sensitive information unless necessary.

Some assessments may collect integrity information described before the assessment, such as answers, timestamps, app-switch events, device information, or proctoring images. Product-specific policies and assessment notices explain these features in greater detail.

8. How we share information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:

  • Service providers supporting hosting, storage, email, communications, AI, translation, analytics, security, support, and payments.
  • Schools, advisors, guardians, institutions, program partners, competition organizers, and administrators involved in a user’s participation or requested Service.
  • Professional advisors, auditors, insurers, and legal representatives.
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or program integrity.
  • A successor or relevant counterparty in a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or transfer of a Service, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Information intentionally submitted to a public, collaborative, certificate-verification, or results feature may be visible to the audience identified by that feature. We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers.

9. Children and student information

Many EAE Services are designed for students. A user below the age at which they can independently consent to data processing or enter into the applicable agreement should participate only with authorization from a parent, guardian, school, or other permitted institution. We process student information for education, account administration, participation, assessment, safety, communication, certification, and program-integrity purposes.

If you believe a child provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

10. International processing

EAE is headquartered in Singapore and serves users internationally. Information may be processed in Singapore and in other jurisdictions where our providers or program partners operate. Where required, we use reasonable contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for international transfers.

11. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts and requested records, support participation and credential verification, complete transactions, comply with law and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the Service, record type, and legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or aggregate it where reasonably practicable.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

13. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection concerning personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also manage certain information, communication preferences, permissions, and account deletion through the applicable product.

To make a privacy request, email contact@eae.international. Please identify the relevant product or program. We may verify your identity or authority before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above. We may provide additional notice where a change is material or applicable law requires it.
